About Kelly

I believe that growth and healing happen when we reconnect with ourselves and the world. I specialize in strengths-based approaches that support individuals in finding balance, authentic connection, and healing. I work with adults and older teens on a variety of topics, some including: healing after trauma; life transitions; sexuality and relationships; communication skills; self-confidence; stress; identity and meaning-making; and overcoming shame and building self-compassion.

I bring compassionate understanding as another human navigating life’s ebbs and flows. I also bring experience as former director of a university sexual assault resource center and as a national consultant and author in trauma work and social justice fields. I have experience working with individuals across many cultures and life experiences, as well as with young adults, couples, and those in helping professions.

I recognize that every individual is unique and use a person-centered approach that prioritizes the areas where you would like to grow. Rooted in intersectional feminist and healing justice frameworks, I integrate insight and experience from over a decade of working in advocacy and counseling fields with the innate wisdom each person brings. You can expect a warm space for sharing, supportive listening, thoughtful questions, the sharing of insights, exploration of ideas, an opportunity to explore mindfulness, and practical suggestions.
